We are seeking Sales Consultants to join a fantastic furniture store in Rotorua!

Our client:
100% NZ owned and operated, this local Waikato and Bay of Plenty organisation prides itself on being hands-on with almost 50 years of expertise under their belts.
  
The Role: 
As a Sales Consultant, you will be working amongst a team that are committed to sales and understanding exactly what the customer is looking for. You will be able to showcase your passion for interiors & design dealing one on one with customers creating dream interiors for your clients. Role responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service  to exceed customer expectations and maximise sales opportunities.
• Provide product expertise to customers.
• Consultations &  quotes
• Sales, KPI’s,  add-ons achievement
• Be highly motivated with a commitment to achieving goals.
• Sets a high standard of company values and representation.
• Maintain store presentation
• Quotes

Preferred Requirements:

• Several years of retail sales experience with a track record of high sales proficiency.
• Demonstrated team skills with supervisory ability.
• Knowledge of the furniture / interiors industry.
• Desirable: Level 3 NZQA in Retail Sales or equivalent retail training/experience
• Passion about customer care + strong customer service skills 
• Ability to understand and adapt to various customer needs without visible frustration.
• Persuasive and influential, with enthusiasm for successful sales.
• Demonstrates eagerness, energy, and maintains good health and vitality.
• Excellent at building relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Maintains grooming standards and wears supplied uniforms.
• Some visual merchandising skills.
