Exciting opportunity to launch a new surf/skate sneaker brand into the AU market. Lead sales strategy for ANZ within urban / youth retail doors.

Our client is a leading B Corp certified sneaker brand that seamlessly blends style, sustainability, and performance as they start their retail expansions in the ANZ market thought a large and successful distributor.  Their commitment to social and environmental responsibility sets us apart in the market, and we're seeking a passionate and experienced National Sales Manager to drive their  presence in the surf, skate and action sports retailers across Australia and NZ. 

As the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the brand's reach and influence within the surf and skate industry. We are looking for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in national sales management, a deep understanding of the surf and skate culture, and a passion for retail.

Your responsibilities will include

• Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers within the surf and skate industry.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive brand growth.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and brand positioning.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decision-making.

What we need from you

• Proven experience in national sales management selling into retail in this industry
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Passion for the surf and skate culture and strong networks and relationships within this space
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in national sales management
• Experience with NZ retail will be highly advantageous
