Wholesale Account Executive

About the Company & Opportunity:
Our client is one of the world's most recognised apparel businesses, with a long-established global presence and an outstanding reputation within the wholesale retail industry. Whilst backed by a large international business, the NZ operation is intentionally small, close-knit and highly collaborative, giving every team member genuine ownership and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Working alongside an amazing National Wholesale Manager, this role sits at the heart of the NZ wholesale business. You'll support everything from order management, sales administration and reporting through to planning coordination, customer communication and account support, ensuring the business continues to run smoothly behind the scenes.

This isn't a role for someone chasing a large corporate ladder. Instead, it's ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys being organised, thrives on variety, loves problem solving and takes pride in being the person everyone relies on. If you're someone who enjoys keeping multiple moving parts on track, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional operational support, you'll feel right at home here.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing customer orders from entry through to delivery
  • Supporting the National Wholesale Manager and two NZ sales agents with day-to-day operations
  • Coordinating sales administration and customer communication
  • Preparing sales reports, analysing data and supporting planning activities
  • Liaising with Australian support teams and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring orders, inventory and delivery timeframes
  • Assisting with account management and resolving customer enquiries
  • Supporting seasonal sales campaigns and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
  • Maintaining accurate systems, reporting and documentation
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:
  • Previous experience within a wholesale environment, ideally in apparel or footwear, across sales support, customer service, operations, administration or account coordination
  • SAP experience, highly advantageous
  • Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across all levels
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • The ability to work autonomously whilst enjoying being part of a small, collaborative team
What's in it for You?
  • Join a globally recognised business with a strong reputation and supportive culture
  • Become part of a small NZ team where your contribution genuinely matters
  • Enjoy a varied role with plenty of autonomy and ownership
  • Hybrid working arrangement with office and work-from-home flexibility
  • Additional leave, including the last Friday of every month off
  • Work alongside an experienced leader who values trust, collaboration and initiative
  • A stable, long-term opportunity offering genuine work-life balance
If you're someone who loves being organised, enjoys supporting a wider team and gets satisfaction from making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.
