Lead from the front in a customer-focused retail environment! Oversee daily store operations, coach a motivated team, and deliver exceptional service to both retail and trade customers.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Team Leader to join a well-established retail store in Melville. In this hands-on leadership position, you’ll support store operations, drive sales performance, and create a safe, engaging workplace where your team and customers thrive.

You’ll play a key role in coaching team members, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring every customer receives expert advice and genuine service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small, close-knit team
  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences across retail and trade
  • Provide expert colour and product advice, including paint tinting and mixing
  • Manage inventory, merchandising, and stock control
  • Maintain a high standard of store presentation and safety compliance
  • Process sales transactions and end-of-day reports
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and trade clients
  • Support deliveries and in-store promotions as required
About You
  • Previous experience in retail, trade, or paint-related environments
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience with strong coaching ability
  • Confident communicator with a genuine passion for customer engagement
  • Strong time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role, including manual handling
  • Tech-savvy with POS or stock management system experience
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
  • Current driver’s licence required
