About the Role
We’re looking for a Team Leader to join a well-established retail store in Melville. You’ll lead a small, motivated team, support day-to-day operations, and deliver exceptional service to both retail and trade customers. It’s a hands-on role where your trade experience and people skills truly shine - helping others choose the right products and get great results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support a small, close-knit team
  • Deliver expert product and colour advice to retail and trade customers
  • Assist with tinting, mixing, and ensuring top-quality results
  • Manage inventory, merchandising, and store presentation
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
  • Build lasting relationships with painters, builders, and DIY clients
About You
  • Background in painting, trade, or paint retail (ideal for qualified painters looking for a new direction)
  • Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
  • Natural leader with strong coaching and problem-solving skills
  • Organised, reliable, and comfortable in a hands-on retail environment
  • Tech-savvy with basic POS or stock control experience
  • Current driver’s licence required
