As Store Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a busy supermarket, leading your team to deliver outstanding customer service, strong financial results and operational excellence.
You'll create a positive, high-performing culture while ensuring the store consistently delivers an exceptional shopping experience for the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of store operations, performance and profitability
- Coach, mentor and develop a large, customer-focused team
- Drive sales growth, wage control and key business KPIs
- Maintain exceptional merchandising, presentation and store standards
- Manage inventory, stock control, compliance and loss prevention
- Deliver outstanding customer service while building strong community relationships
- Recruit, develop and retain high-performing team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
You'll be a confident and hands-on retail leader with a passion for developing people and delivering commercial results.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager within supermarkets, grocery or large-format retail
- Strong commercial acumen with proven success managing sales, wages and profitability
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire large teams
- Experience driving operational excellence across all areas of the business
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for creating outstanding shopping experiences
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
