Showroom Manager - Chadstone

Lead a large bridal showroom, develop a talented team and create unforgettable experiences for customers during one of life's biggest moments.

Your New Employer

Join an established and growing bridal retailer, known for its beautiful collections, personalised service and commitment to helping every bride find the perfect dress.

Offering an extensive range of bridal gowns across different styles and budgets, this business has built a strong reputation for making the bridal shopping experience memorable, welcoming and enjoyable.
With showrooms across Australia and a strong focus on customer experience, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business where genuine connections, team development and exceptional service are at the heart of everything they do.

You r New Role

As Showroom Manager, you will take ownership of a large, high-performing bridal showroom in Chadstone, leading a team of approximately 22 employees across a busy, appointment-based environment.

This is a people-focused leadership opportunity where your ability to coach, develop and bring a team together will be just as important as your commercial experience.

Customer experience is at the heart of this role. Unlike traditional retail, the bridal journey is highly personal, with stylists spending extended periods working closely with brides and their wedding parties. You will lead a team that understands how to build genuine connections, navigate emotional moments and guide customers through the exciting, and sometimes overwhelming, experience of finding their perfect dress.

Working closely with the National Leadership team, you will be responsible for all aspects of showroom performance, from sales and customer experience through to people development and daily operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead, coach and develop a large team, creating a positive and accountable working environment.
  • Drive showroom sales performance, with a strong focus on conversion, individual performance and customer experience.
  • Coach your team to deliver thoughtful, personalised bridal consultations, building trust with brides and their wedding parties throughout their journey.
  • Develop a team that can confidently balance empathy, emotional intelligence and commercial sales performance.
  • Manage team performance through regular coaching, feedback and development.
  • Oversee daily showroom operations including rostering, stock management, deliveries and presentation standards.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and support wider business initiatives.
What You'll Bring

We are looking for an experienced people leader who understands the importance of exceptional, personalised customer service, particularly when guiding customers through significant life moments and important purchasing decisions.

Bridal experience is not essential! We are open to strong leaders from retail, beauty, wellness and other customer-focused industries where building genuine relationships and delivering highly personalised service are a priority.
  • Proven management experience, ideally leading a large team in a busy retail or service environment.
  • Strong coaching, performance management and people development skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy when working with customers, with the ability to understand individual needs, manage expectations and create a supportive, memorable experience.
  • Experience in consultative or appointment-based selling, where building trust and spending quality time with customers is essential.
  • A genuine passion for helping customers through important purchasing decisions, often involving family members and different personalities.
  • Experience driving sales, conversion and individual performance through effective coaching.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance operational responsibilities and customer experience.
  • A hands-on leadership approach, with the confidence to make decisions, build team engagement and lead by example.
Most importantly, you will understand that bridal retail is about more than selling a dress. It's about supporting brides throughout their journey, making them feel comfortable and confident and creating an experience they will remember long after their appointment.

What's In It For You
  • Salary of $80,000–$85,000 + super, depending on experience.
  • Attractive incentive scheme, with potential additional earnings of approximately $15,000.
  • Tuesday to Saturday roster, offering a consistent working week.
  • Comprehensive training and onboarding, with potential interstate training opportunities.
  • Work closely with an experienced National Leadership team.
