Our Auckland team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a strong client portfolio, drive growth across the North Island region, and continue building trusted partnerships within the retail sector.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing end-to-end agency recruitment across your client portfolio
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities
- Partnering with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
- Sourcing, engaging, and attracting top retail talent through multiple channels
- Managing candidate relationships from initial conversation through to placement and beyond
- Coaching and advising clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Driving business development activity and growing your market presence
- Attending client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
- Representing Retailworld as a trusted recruitment partner within the retail industry
- Proven agency recruitment experience is essential
- Strong track record managing your own desk and delivering successful placements
- Experience within retail, hospitality, or a customer-focused sector is highly regarded
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and grow accounts
- Self-motivated, organised, and driven by achieving results
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment
