This is not your typical retail role. We’re partnering with a growing gold and bullion business that’s looking to bring on a full time sales assistant for their flagship Chermside store.
You’ll be working with high-value products, building trust with customers and handling transactions that require accuracy, confidence and strong commercial judgement. If you’ve worked in pawn, bullion, jewellery or a similar environment, you’ll understand exactly what this role involves.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Buying and selling gold, jewellery and other valuable items
- Building strong, repeat relationships with customers
- Handling high-value transactions with accuracy and care
- Negotiating and assessing value of items
- Supporting day-to-day store operations
- Representing the brand in-store and across social content
- Experience in Cash Converters, Pawn Broking, Bullion, Jewellery or similar
- Strong sales ability with a focus on trust and relationship building
- Confidence handling high-value transactions and negotiations
- A professional, well-presented and confident communication style
- Comfortable being part of social media/video content
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- $70K + Super (flexible based on experience)
- Full-time hours across a Monday to Saturday roster
- No late nights and closed Sundays
- Paid trial as part of the process to ensure the right fit for both sides
