Retail Manager
About your new role
You will take ultimate responsibility for the front-of-house retail floor in a high-velocity, big-box environment. You will manage customer service, registers, stock recovery and a team of assistant managers, using weekly inventory sales data to constantly reconfigure layout spaces.

Base salary of $69k–$71k plus superannuation

Key responsibilities
Ensure the sales floor meets quarterly financial targets.
Schedule supervisors and team members to meet customer demand.
Monitor sales, items sold and labor hours to hit efficiencies.
Assess floor standards continuously and direct recovery activity.
Train and coach the customer service team to set the pace.
Manage cash and tender controls plus morning banking.
Skills and experience we are looking for
Background in fast-paced retail or customer service management.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze floor data.
Ability to supervise, schedule and coordinate recruitment.
Capability to observe, assess and coach team performance.
Skilled in resolving customer complaints and setting boundaries.
About the team
You will lead the front-of-house retail division, directly supervising a crew of 2 to 3 assistant retail managers and floor team members. The team is dynamic, fast-paced and relies heavily on managers who lead by example and celebrate workplace uniqueness.
