This leading New Zealand home improvement co-operative operates a nationwide network of locally owned, large-format stores serving both DIYers and trade customers under one roof. As Retail Manager, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the day-to-day performance, people and customer experience across a significant area of the store.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a large team of 120+, including Team Leaders and Supervisors
- Overseeing front-end and customer service operations
- Driving sales, KPIs and commercial performance portfolio $50+ mill
- Using data and reporting to identify opportunities and improve results
- Setting high standards across customer experience, presentation, stock, compliance and safety
- Building a high-performance culture and managing performance effectively
- Supporting the Store Manager with wider store operations and business objectives
You’re an experienced retail leader who is confident operating in a large-format or high-volume environment with a portfolio of $50+ million TO + 100+ staff and taking ownership of a significant area of a store.
