Your New Role:
This is a broad Regional Manager role; you will have full ownership of the region from a people, performance and profitability perspective, with a real opportunity to shape the way the network operates and grows.
The role will suit a leader who enjoys being out in the business rather than removed from it. Someone who can coach site leaders, tighten standards, lift performance and use the numbers to drive smart decisions. It is a role for a strong operator who understands that regional leadership is not just about oversight, it is about setting the tone, building trust and making sure each location is set up to perform at a consistently high level.
What You'll Get Up To:
- Lead 12 locations, staying close to performance, people and day-to-day operations across the region
- Take full ownership of revenue, profitability and the overall commercial performance of your region
- Coach and develop Managers to build stronger leadership capability, better decision making and more consistent results
- Identify where performance can be lifted and put practical plans in place to improve service, team output and financial results
- Build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted leader for support, direction and accountability
- Bring greater consistency to standards, routines and customer experience across all locations
- Use reporting and commercial data to understand what is driving results, where the gaps are and what needs to change
- Shift the focus from pure transaction to a stronger service-led experience that drives both loyalty and growth
- Previous regional management leadership experience across a service led retail or customer focused environment
- A strong background in businesses where customer experience, team capability and commercial performance all matter equally
- Must have proven experience with full P&L ownership and a clear understanding of how to influence revenue, profitability and cost control across multiple sites
- A leadership style that is hands-on, visible and focused on coaching others to perform
- Confidence leading through structure and process while still knowing how to adapt to the needs of different locations
- Experience in optical, pharmacy, health retail, speciality retail or another service-driven environment will be highly regarded
- Someone who understands how to move a business beyond purely transactional retail and lift performance through service and standards
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel across the region as needed
