The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll own and grow your market across the Upper North Island. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days look the same.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across your client portfolio
- Building strong relationships with both existing and new clients
- Proactively sourcing and engaging top talent through multiple channels
- Matching candidates to opportunities and guiding them through the process
- Driving business development and growing your desk
- Attending client meetings and Retailworld events
- Representing Retailworld as a trusted industry partner
- Proven recruitment experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Previous retail experience (highly regarded)
- A strong drive to achieve results and exceed targets
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
- A proactive, adaptable mindset (things move quickly here!)
- A genuine passion for people and building relationships
