Flagship Store Manager - Albany I Large Format Trade

We’re looking for an exceptional Flagship Store Manager to take the helm of a major big-box retail operation in Albany.

The Role
As Flagship Store Manager, you’ll have overall accountability for the people, performance, customer experience and operations of the store.
You’ll lead through four Department Heads across Garden, Trade, Retail Service and Retail Operations, with multiple leaders and teams beneath each department. This is a genuine big-box leadership role where you’ll be expected to lead through your management team, set the standard and create accountability across the entire operation.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading and developing a team of approximately 120
  • Driving sales, KPIs and overall commercial performance
  • Using data and reporting to identify opportunities and improve results
  • Coaching and developing Department Heads and their leadership teams
  • Building a high-performance culture where great results are recognised
  • Managing performance and feedback constructively
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service and store standards
  • Overseeing operational excellence across stock, compliance, presentation and safety
  • Working closely with senior leadership to deliver wider business objectives
About You
You’re a proven big-box retailer with experience leading a large, complex operation. Most importantly, you’ll have the scale, commercial capability and leadership maturity to operate at this level.
