About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to step into an Assistant Store Manager position and play an important role in the day-to-day success of the store.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help lead the team, maintain high operational standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will be hands-on across all areas of the store, supporting stock management, merchandising, rostering, team development and overall performance.

This role would suit an experienced Assistant Manager, Department Manager or Supervisor ready to take the next step with a supportive and growing supermarket business.

What You’ll Need
  • Previous leadership experience within supermarkets, grocery, FMCG or a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
  • Strong operational knowledge across stock management, merchandising, rostering and customer service
  • The ability to support, motivate and develop a diverse team
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to improving standards, performance and the customer experience
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating retail roster
