We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a busy supermarket in Mt Lawley.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll lead from the floor, coach your team and help deliver an outstanding shopping experience for your local community. About the role As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to keep the business running smoothly while creating a positive experience for both customers and your team.

Your day will include:
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Leading, coaching and developing your team
  • Driving sales, productivity and store performance
  • Maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards
  • Managing stock, inventory and compliance
  • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer enquiries
  • Creating a positive team culture where people enjoy coming to work
About you You'll bring:
  • Leadership experience in supermarkets, grocery, large-format retail or hospitality
  • A hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with KPIs
  • Excellent communication and people leadership skills
  • The ability to stay organised and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for delivering great customer experiences
