Your New Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day success of the store by supporting high standards across sales, team performance, operations and customer experience. You’ll actively contribute to driving results, supporting your team and creating an environment that delivers an engaging, premium in-store experience.
You will be expected to take ownership of your responsibilities, work closely with the Store Manager and team and continuously look for ways to improve processes, performance and customer outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Support, coach and develop a high-performing team, using structured performance management to drive results and build capability.
- Assist in managing store performance, confidently explaining the how and why behind KPIs, trade decisions and commercial outcomes.
- Be visible on the floor, leading by example and setting the standard for an energetic, customer-first experience.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a strong team culture, fostering accountability, connection and high standards under pressure.
- Support business decisions with strong commercial awareness, balancing people, product and performance.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence and professional judgement when navigating challenges, feedback and team dynamics.
- Commit to your own personal development, actively seeking feedback and applying learnings to elevate your leadership.
- Help create meaningful community connections, aligning with a lifestyle that reflects culture, energy and engagement.
- 2+ years’ experience in an Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership role in fashion or lifestyle retail.
- A strong people leader who thrives on coaching, developing and supporting a team.
- Commercially minded with a solid understanding of KPIs, sales performance and store budgets.
- Confident supporting daily operations including rostering, stock and trade management.
- Hands-on and passionate about delivering an engaging, high-energy customer experience.
- A natural communicator with the ability to build relationships and lead with impact .
