The Opportunity
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to lead a passionate sales team, drive store performance, and create an engaging shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

This role is ideal for a hands-on retail leader who enjoys coaching others, building team capability, and achieving strong commercial outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of 10+ team members to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Creating a positive, high-performing team culture focused on customer experience
  • Developing team capability through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback
  • Building strong customer relationships that drive loyalty and repeat business
  • Maintaining outstanding store presentation and visual merchandising standards
  • Supporting daily store operations, inventory management, and compliance processes
  • Driving operational excellence while delivering strong commercial results
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and team development initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a retail leadership role such as Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, or Department Manager
  • Strong coaching and people development skills
  • A proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve KPIs
  • Experience within large-format retail, furniture, homewares, or similar retail environments highly regarded
  • A hands-on leadership style that inspires and motivates others
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to operational standards and customer experience
  • A positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
