An exciting opportunity has landed with a globally recognised activewear and lifestyle retailer as they prepare to open a brand-new flagship location in Chermside.
We are searching for an energetic and people-first Assistant Store Manager to help lead the opening of this exciting new store. This is the chance to join an internationally recognised performance and lifestyle brand during a major growth phase and play a key role in building the culture, team and customer experience from day one.
This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on the shop floor, loves building team energy and knows how to create memorable customer moments in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team
- Driving an exceptional customer experience through coaching and floor leadership
- Creating a positive and energetic store culture
- Leading from the front with customer engagement and sales performance
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team development
- Managing day-to-day operations including VM, stock and store standards
- Helping launch and establish a brand-new store within the Brisbane market
- Previous leadership experience in retail at ASM, Keyholder or Senior Supervisor level
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- High energy and a genuine passion for customer experience
- Commercial awareness and confidence driving results
- Experience within fashion, activewear, footwear, lifestyle or premium retail environments
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate a team
- Passion for sport, wellness or active lifestyle brands highly regarded
- Salary package up to $65-68k+Super
