The Role
Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the daily operations of this busy Canning Bridge supermarket. You'll coach and develop your team, drive operational excellence and help create an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-volume supermarket
- Leading, coaching and developing a motivated retail team
- Driving sales, productivity and operational performance
- Maintaining exceptional merchandising and presentation standards
- Assisting with inventory management, stock control and compliance
- Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer enquiries
- Creating a positive team culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
You'll bring:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or experienced Supervisor within supermarkets, grocery or large-format retail
- A hands-on leadership style and passion for developing people
- Strong commercial awareness with experience working towards KPIs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
