As the Assistant Store Manager, you are the heartbeat of the sales floor. Partnering closely with the Store Manager, you will co-lead a dedicated team of 15, ensuring operational excellence while creating an unforgettable, warm shopping experience for every customer.

Your day-to-day will involve:
  • People Leadership: Mentoring, coaching, and motivating a diverse team to reach their full potential.
  • Customer Excellence: Setting the benchmark for authentic, knowledgeable, and engaging service.
  • Commercial Drive: Managing KPIs, rosters, wages, stock flow, and shrinkage to maximize profitability.
  • Visual Standards: Maintaining a stunning, sensory-driven showroom presentation that inspires.
  • Brand Advocacy: Building genuine relationships with local suppliers, VIP customers, and the community.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment (Big box or premium specialty retail highly regarded).
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to analyse numbers, manage budgets, and drive operational performance.
  • A natural ability to inspire teams, handle performance feedback openly, and foster a positive culture.
  • An eye for impeccable visual merchandising and premium store presentation.
  • A genuine love for food, entertaining, or premium homewares is a massive plus!
