Area Manager | Lower North Island

Our client is a proudly New Zealand-owned business with a strong reputation across the trade, commercial and DIY sectors. With a mix of company-owned and franchise locations, they're seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead performance, grow customer relationships and support stores across the Lower North Island.

This is a highly commercial role, combining multi-site leadership, franchise relationship management, trade sales growth and operational excellence.

About the Role:
  • Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and teams across the region
  • Partner with franchise owners and key stakeholders to drive performance
  • Grow trade, commercial and industrial customer relationships
  • Deliver sales growth, profitability and KPI achievement
  • Support recruitment, succession planning and operational standards
  • Travel throughout the Lower North Island as required
About You:
  • Proven multi-site leadership experience
  • Strong commercial and sales focus
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within franchise, dealer or mixed corporate/franchise networks highly regarded
  • Background in trade, hardware, automotive, industrial, agricultural or related sectors advantageous
