As growth continues, an opportunity has arisen for an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of 11 stores across the Lower North Island and upper South Island, including Nelson, Blenheim, Wellington, Palmerston North, Hawke's Bay, Taupō, Rotorua and New Plymouth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner with Store Managers to build capability, drive sales performance and create an exceptional customer experience across the region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading, coaching and developing Store Managers and their teams
- Driving sales, profitability and operational performance across the region
- Building a high-performance, customer-first culture
- Supporting recruitment, succession planning and talent development
- Analysing store performance and identifying opportunities for growth
- Ensuring operational excellence, visual standards and compliance
- Travelling regularly throughout the region to support your stores
- You'll be a people-focused leader who genuinely enjoys developing others and creating high-performing teams
- Proven multi-site retail leadership experience
- A background in fast-paced, high volume retail environments
- Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering results
- Experience leading through growth, change and continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
