Consultant - North Island

With a strong background in retail, Tutamure has built his career across customer service, store operations and retail leadership, progressing into management with AS Colour.

During his time with the brand, he was selected to launch and lead its first Outlet store, gaining first-hand experience in building a team, establishing processes and navigating the fast-paced nature of retail from the ground up.

Now working as a Consultant with RWR Group, Tutamure brings a genuine understanding of the retail industry and the people who make it successful. Having worked across store operations, recruitment, onboarding, training and team development, he understands the challenges retail businesses face and what it takes to create strong, engaged teams. His experience on the shop floor and in leadership allows him to connect with candidates and clients from a practical perspective, while understanding the importance of finding the right fit for both.

Known for being approachable, driven and easy to connect with, Tutamure enjoys building genuine relationships and helping people take the next step in their careers. He brings an open and people-focused approach to recruitment, with a strong passion for the retail industry.

Outside of Retailworld, Tutamure enjoys singing, kapa haka and Māori performing arts, as well as sport, film and volunteering. He enjoys staying connected to his culture, community and the people around him.
