With a strong background across the beauty and optical industries, Alex has built his career in large format retail, leading teams, supporting multi-site operations and working closely with customers in fast-paced environments. After several years in retail leadership, he has now moved into recruitment, where he brings a genuine understanding of what strong retail talent looks like in practice.

Alex has supported his fair share of store openings and brand launches while keeping teams engaged and all operations moving forward, giving him a well-rounded view of the challenges and expectations retail leaders face. This experience allows him to speak confidently with both candidates and clients, offering a practical understanding of store structure, service standards, team culture and commercial performance.

Known for being approachable, hands on and easy to connect with, Alex enjoys building strong relationships and understanding what motivates people in their careers. He brings a grounded and thoughtful approach to recruitment, combining his retail background with a genuine interest in helping people and businesses find the right fit. Having lived the pace, pressure and occasional organised chaos of retail himself, he knows the right questions to ask and the details that matter.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active through swimming and badminton. He brings that same energy into the office and is always up for a conversation, especially if it involves retail, career goals or a little friendly competition.
