Dana is a retail professional who started her career in an urban fashion retailer during high school and fell in love with everything Retail.

As she studied Business Marketing at University, Dana took on a role in Fashion PR and Marketing for an iconic brand specialising in denim. This allowed her to understand consumer behaviour and the commercial aspects of retail, before relocating to Melbourne to head the retail division and later stepping into their State Sales and Account Management role. 

Her next role saw Dana move into retail operations for a large Australasian vertical retailer with 250+ stores across Australia & NZ, before catching the travel bug and deciding it was the perfect time to do an O.E in the UK & Europe. After 2 years of globe-trotting Dana decided it was time to come home to NZ, finding herself in a National Sales Manager role where she was in charge of retail and wholesale sales management, buying & merchandising planning for multiple leading fashion brands.

Dana now applies her hands-on industry knowledge to specialised executive retail recruitment at Retailworld - As Team Leader for RWR Executive, Dana has successfully placed a variety of roles ranging from marketing and buying through to senior leadership and executive search appointments in multinational businesses, including publicly listed and privately owned.

In her spare time, you’ll find Dana socialising with friends and family, often enjoying the newest restaurants with a glass of vino - preferably a Man O’War Dreadnought Syrah.
