Rachel started her retail career working in one of the most iconic sports fashion brands in the world.
Having no idea what direction she wanted to take in her career, she was delighted to find that she loved retail and excelled in sales! After progressing through the company through various management positions, Rachel was offered a buying role.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Rachel decided she needed more challenge, taking on a multi-site role while continuing to excel in her buying role. In 2010, after 8 years, plenty of successes and the promotion to GM of retail - managing all stores, buying, marketing, and HR functions, she decided it was time for a change.
During a general chat with the CEO of Retailworld, an idea was born and Rachel joined us in our Auckland office, specialising in Executive Recruitment. Years later, she is now the Agency Manager of Retailworld Sydney.
Rachel specialises in recruitment for all support office roles, buying/planning, supply chain, operations, marketing, HR, and senior retail management.
Rachel is a born and bred retailer with a passion for people and a commitment to finding an outcome for both her clients and candidates.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys online shopping, experiencing Sydney's iconic restaurants and cafes, and 'taste testing' new wines!
