About the Role

As a Store Management Couple, you will oversee the daily operations of a busy remote community supermarket. Together you will ensure operational excellence across retail standards, compliance and team development while fostering meaningful relationships within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, merchandising and sale of stock
• Manage sales performance, budgets and reporting
• Lead, train and supervise a diverse team including local Indigenous employees
• Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety and licensing requirements
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
• Build trusted relationships with community members and stakeholders
• Promote healthy living and culturally aware retail practices

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in retail, grocery or supermarket management (both partners ideally)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Solid understanding of financials, stock control and compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A calm, adaptable and community-minded approach
• Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a National Police Check
• Unfortunately this role does not support Visa Sponsorships or restricted working rights.
