National Operations Manager | Retail + Entertainment We’re working exclusively on a rare and high-impact opportunity to lead nationwide operations for one of New Zealand’s most recognisable and dynamic retail-entertainment groups. With a portfolio of nearly 20 sites across the country, and more on the way, this role is all about shaping a consistently brilliant customer experience, driving commercial results, and elevating team performance across a well-loved, fast-paced, and growing multi-brand business.
About the Role: Reporting to the NZ General Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for operational performance across three well-known retail/entertainment brands. You’ll lead a workforce of 500+ team members nationwide, working closely with the Support Office and senior stakeholders across marketing, finance, and people, while also collaborating with international group leadership. A key part of the role is coaching and developing a team of Multi-Site Managers who oversee regional venue portfolios.
You’ll lead through others, drive strategic initiatives, and support future growth, all while building on a strong existing foundation. The network is engaged, brand standards are clear, and several new sites are set to open in 2025.
What We’re Looking For: This role is best suited to a commercially astute, people-first leader with deep experience in fast-paced, multi-site environments across retail, hospitality and/or entertainment.

The National Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a network of three Multi-Site Managers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional operational standards, customer experiences, and team development across the business.
