Our Client: 
Is a well-established large-format retailer that has been supplying customers with the very best products across DIY, Trade & Home. They aim to provide high-quality service delivered by skilled staff that value their customers and give honest, professional advice. You'll be joining an established team in the Ashburton store.

The Benefits: 

• Base Salary - $85k - $95k depending on experience
• Company Vehicle 
• Monday - Friday x 40 hours p/w - occasional weekend work required

The Job: 
The Trade department is a key part of the business that is also in a strong growth phase you’ll need to  build on a well-established existing client base whilst also being responsible for but not limited to:

• Leading a great team of 10 staff ensuring you maintain a high level of service to our trade clients and DIYers 
• Taking ownership and driving the business through strong leadership skills working hands-on with your team. 
• Ensuring that you are meeting sales & KPI targets
• Overseeing all day-to-day operations including stock, inventory, merchandising & logistics
• Conducting all areas of HR including performance management, reviews and recruitment with the support of the HR Manager

We are looking for someone with, but not limited: 

• Proven experience/background in the building/trades industry
• Proven experience in management and organizational skills
• Ability to build a strong team environment
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Driven to deliver exceptional results for your customers
