About the Role As a Store Management Couple, you’ll take ownership of all daily operations of a busy community store, ensuring smooth business performance, effective merchandising, and adherence to company policies and budgets.
You’ll work closely with regional leadership while mentoring and developing a local team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing sales performance, stock control, and financial reporting
- Overseeing staffing levels, training, and rosters
- Ensuring strong merchandising, presentation, and WHS compliance
- Building community engagement and a customer-first culture
- Supporting the Regional Manager with reporting and quarterly reviews
What We’re Looking For - Proven retail, supermarket, or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Solid understanding of store operations, stock control, and cash management
- Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural awareness
- Commitment to living and working in remote Indigenous communities
- Full Australian working rights (no visa restrictions)
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Check
