About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Management Couple to take on the operation of a licensed community club in remote Northern Territory. This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for ensuring safe, responsible, and community-focused management of the venue.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day operations in line with licensing, legislation, and the requirements of the local Board of Directors.
- Lead, train, and support staff, building a strong and service-focused team.
- Manage financial reporting, cash handling, and stock control processes.
- Supervise bar and catering services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Promote responsible service of alcohol and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons.
- Champion ethical practices and workplace health and safety.
Skills & Experience - Previous experience at Club, Bar, Hotel, or Food & Beverage Supervisor level.
- Strong knowledge of the Liquor Act (NT) or the ability to obtain this quickly.
- A current RSA (less than 3 years old) and food safety certification (or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency with electronic systems for financial reporting, cash handling, and stock management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across diverse communities.
- Current driver’s licence.
