• Days of work - Monday - Friday (between 7am - 4:30 pm) + rotating Saturday 8am - 12pm (40-45 hours)

The Job: 
As a retail and trade assistant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Greeting and engaging with retail and trade customers 
• Ensuring a high level of store cleanliness and presentation is maintained
• Driving sales & KPI’s through conversations with customers 
• Opening and closing store, banking, cashup, stock management 
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items of 30 kgs 
• Eager to learn and grow your career, as there is an opportunity for growth for the right person

Ideal skills and experience required: 

• Ideally, have 3+ years of experience in the Paint or Trade industry or other transferable sales or customer service skills 
• Turn up to work with a positive can-do attitude every day
• Excellent communication and people skills with a genuine ability to motivate those around you and work as part of a team
• Ability to self-motivate and think outside the box, bringing innovative ideas to the table 
• All Applicants must have full Working Rights in NZ (no sponsorship)
