The Role: Casual Retail Assistant  (aka The Friendly Face on the Floor)

You’ll be working with a beautiful range of fashion, lifestyle and gifting products that customers love to explore and collect. This is a customer-facing role all about creating a warm, welcoming and memorable in-store experience. You'll be part of a close-knit team delivering genuine service, offering styling support and helping customers find pieces that feel just right for them or their loved ones. Every shift gives you the chance to connect, assist and represent the brand in your own way.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greet every customer with warmth and start authentic conversations
• Build trust through honest styling advice and thoughtful product suggestions
• Handle transactions with care, accuracy and efficiency
• Gift wrap purchases beautifully and offer add-ons where appropriate
• Stay aware on the floor, offering help before it's asked for
• Keep the shop floor looking tidy, calm and inviting between customers
• Support team members and stay flexible to what the shift needs

What You’ll Bring:

• A friendly and confident personality with a genuine interest in people
• Some previous retail or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read a customer’s needs
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude, even during busy periods
• Flexible availability and a team-first mindset
