The Brand:
This New Zealand-owned brand has been established for over 45+ years and is a well-recognised Home & DIY retail & trade business with over 20+ stores. They are looking for a dynamic new Retail Manager to join their brand new Queenstown Store located in Remarkables Park!

About the role:
The Branch manager will run all store operations, including but not limited to:
  • Driving Sales & KPI’s
  • Overseeing stocktake & stock management 
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service to a diverse range of customers and resolving customer issues
  • Ensuring a high level of H&S and Compliance
  • Performing HR Functions - performance reviews, mgmt, terminations and recruitment 
About you
  • You’ll have experience leading teams for 5+ years
  • Ideally, have experience or passion within Home, DIY, or Trade.
  • Your people management skills are exceptional - you’re focused on developing, mentoring and coaching your team to success
  • Sales Superstar -  Passionate about building relationships and driving sales.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and commercial business acumen
  • Positive, proactive, team player with a collaborative mindset. Open to feedback and works well independently.
  • Must have full NZ working Rights (no sponsorship or temp visas)
